PAYMENT
Payment is to be made in full before your order is completed and shipped. We accept credit card payments via PayPal. If you were given a gift card, it is redeemable via our website only and is not transferable for use at other retailers that carry Mommy Necklaces.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING
In-stock items dispatch and shipping:
Our shipping rates are flat rate per necklace. New Zealand shipping is NZ$3.50 via NZPost or NZ$5.00 via Tracked NZPost and Australian shipping is NZ$6.00 via International Air Mail. For in-stock items, allow approx. 1 to 2 business days, after your purchase is made, for dispatch. If you contact us beforehand and let us know you need something by a certain date, we are more than happy to provide you with an answer and see what we can do for you.

Custom-order items dispatch and shipping:
Please allow 4-6 weeks for items to arrive in New Zealand for dispatch. Shipping is the same cost for in-stock items.

RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
Your satisfaction is guaranteed and if you are unhappy with your purchase, you are welcome to return a new necklace within 10 days of receipt. If for any reason you are unsatisfied, you will be refunded the purchase price (minus the shipping and handling charge). Returns are NOT accepted after 14 days. After 14 days, even in package, we get nervous about the integrity of the cording and the sanitary conditions of the necklace. We are unable to restock items that we don't feel comfortable restocking. Your necklaces must be returned in their original packaging, undamaged. Contact us for the address to return your necklace. When submitting a return request, please include your name, address, and the reason for return in your email to us. Please also include this information  inside the envelope when you send your return.

CANCELLATION
Please choose your purchases carefully. Orders may be cancelled with a full credit card refund if they have not been shipped, otherwise please refer to the return and exchange policy as detailed above.

SPECIAL PURCHASE RETURNS
Periodically, we offer specials and/or sales. We will indicate during this time if the sale item is "AS IS". If it is, this means it is not eligible to be returned or exchanged. All sales are final during these special, excluding our obligations as detailed in the Consumer Guarantees Act.

If you are a blogger and want to review our product, please submit your blog address, the number of followers you have, how long you've been blogging, and why you'd like to review our product to info@mommynecklaces.co.nz.

Blogger must include a detailed description and photographs in their blog post. Blogger must allow all users (both domestic and international) to participate. In all fairness, previous Mommy Necklace winners (either on Facebook or otherwise) are not eligible. We do keep a running log of winners we've had submitted, so please notify your readers. We will review your blog, and if selected, you will receive email notification within 2 weeks of your original email

GIVEAWAY
If you win a necklace from Mommy Necklaces, it is not returnable or exchangeable. The necklace is "as is" and all transactions are final. However, our guarantees do apply to your winnings. If you've already won a Mommy Necklace, you are not eligible for further giveaways. Please allow normal shipping times detailed above. And, congrats!

We're dependable, but sometimes it happens. If you own a Locked Donut Design, please make sure your little one does not 'twist' or 'wind up' the Locked Donut. This repeated pressure on a Locked Donut may weaken the cording where it ties to the donut pendant. This is the only Mommy Necklace design that is at a higher risk of breakage than others.

Rest assured, Mommy Necklaces are guaranteed and we offer a very unique 'zero to three guarantee' philosophy. Yanking and breaking of necklace strands usually occurs during the zero to three age span of children, hence our guarantee, but we guarantee the integrity of the necklace from normal wear and tear. If your necklace breaks, contact us with your name, address, approx. purchase date of necklace, where you bought it, and what happened when the breakage occurred. Next, we will provide you with a mailing address for you to return your damaged necklace. Once received, the necklace will be sent to the United States to be re-stranded and will be returned directly to you. You are responsible for the shipping and handling fees to ship the necklace to us in Auckland, but we will gladly pay for the return shipping and handling and offer free re-stranding (it will be re-stranded as is and does not qualify for any sizing or design changes). Please allow 4-6 weeks for this service.

PRIVACY
We are committed to ensuring the privacy of our customers. Under our obligations in the Privacy Act, we do not sell or share email addresses or any other information about our customers with third parties. Our company does not place you on a mailing list or collect your email address, unless you specifically opt-in to receive promotional material from us. The only email you will receive from us confirms your order and shipment. We respect your privacy and guarantee your personal information is protected. After teething necklaces made their debut on the market, some assumed the Mommy Necklaces' donut pendants were also intended for teething. Please do not draw conclusions about these based on the intended use of other products. Mommy Necklaces are in no way, shape, or form recommended as teething toys or teething necklaces. We are a jewelry manufacturing company that produces items for adult wear.

Yes, the beads are tested for safety. Meaning we don't want harmful chemicals leeching onto little hands (that later go into little mouths) or into a mouth that may make contact with your necklace. Because we test our beads does not mean we are intending for the beads to be chewed upon. As with any teether, a soft, silicone-based product is recommended. All of our beads are made of a hard acrylic that would not be soothing or safe for baby to chew. We love having our necklaces drooled over; let's just make it in the appropriate, intended way.

Remember, as with any jewellery or necklace, small beads are a potential choking hazard. Please never allow a little one to play independently or unsupervised with a necklace. When purchasing from Mommy Necklaces, you accept responsibility for its use and release us from the liability of misuse.

The user is solely responsible for the safety and well-being of themselves and those individuals under their care while using this product. Mommy Necklaces should only be used as intended, which is as adult jewellery.
